Our Journey
The year Dan and Jai met.
One of the chef's guitars was in the pub at the time so, Jai decided to play some Taylor Swift songs to Dan. From that point onwards, Dan was forever mesmerised by Jai. 😍
Eventually, Dan had to leave for China and the two didn't want to do a long distance relationship. 😢
But they kept in touch. 😊
July 2020: Dan is back in the UK for good, and with Percy! ❤️
Jai got Dan a job at The Greyfriar during lockdown.
Christmas 2021: Jai and Dan's first Christmas together! 🎄
Dan and Jai enjoying the wonderful Boracay. 🏝️🌅
And did all sorts of things! Building life together, spending time with friends and families.
January 2024: Jai and Dan's families first ever meet up!
15 June 2024: Much to Jai's surprise,

August 2024: Dan and Jai adopted their second kitten and named him Datu Makisig Oliver I of Kingston-upon-Thames.

December 2018: Dan just came back from China for the Christmas holidays and met Jai in a pub called The Greyfriar, in Chawton, where he used to work at, and owned, back then, by a man called Simon Brencher.
January 2019: Dan only had a week left before going back to China to teach, so both tried to see each other every day since.
Their first official date is at The Greyfriars.
13 December: Dan rescued an orange kitten and named him Lord Percival Nuggeton III of Shenzhen. Nugget, for short, as a kitten but now known as Percy! 😽
7 February 2020: Dan is back from China and stayed with Jai for a few days. Dan made Jai watch all of the Star Wars film in one day. They finished at 2 in the morning. 😴
8 February 2020: After Star Wars, they went to bed.
Dan said I love you unexpectedly. 😱
Jai said thank you. 😤
Then, Jai said I love you back. 😊
Dan had 5 months left to teach in China before going back to the UK for good.
They are official! 🎉
July 2021: Dan and Jai moved in together in their new home in Bromley, UK, with Percy.
December 2022: Jai and Dan's first holiday together in the Philippines, for Jai's brother's wedding.
April 2023: Dan and Jai moved in a two-bedroom maisonette in Surbiton, UK
April 2024: Jai went to the Philippines for one of his brothers' wedding and decided then that Dan was the one and started planning his proposal.
June 2024: Jai forced Dan to go to Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour concert with him.
They had a great time!
July 2024: Jai surprised Dan to a 5-day trip to Norway for Dan's 30th birthday!
September 2024: Dan and Jai booked Cain Manor as their wedding venue! 🎉💒
May 2025: Dan forced Jai to go to Twenty One Pilots concert! They also had a great time!
Comic Con: They also met Stephanie Beatriz (Rosa - Brooklyn 99) and Dante Basco (Zuko - Avatar: The Last Airbender) and gave them STDs for their wedding.
December 2025: Dan surprised Jai with a weekend trip to Munich, Germany for his 30th!
On the following Tuesday, Jai proposed back to Dan at The Ritz! 💍
